About a week before Clemson went down to Tallahassee, Sean Pollard got a good look at the inner workings of the Clemson football program.
Pollard visited the Sunday before Florida State week began. Joined by his dad and grandmother, Pollard met with the coaches for an intimate look at what’s going on around Clemson.
Saturday’s visit for the North Carolina game was all about getting a look at Tigertown on game day.
“It was fun,” Pollard told TheClemsonInsider on Sunday. “It was definitely a fun experience, because everybody talks about how their game day is hard to pass, which is true.”
A junior at Pinecrest High School in Southern Pines, North Carolina, Pollard added, “I had a fun experience. I brought my dad and my brother down, got to hang out and watch the game.
“I definitely had fun. It was awesome.”
The atmosphere for the 50-35 win over UNC didn’t disappoint.
“Everybody talks about the Death Valley experience and all that, the Tiger Walk, just (getting) all that experience was the main thing,” Pollard said.
UNC will host Pollard for a visit on Saturday. A trip to N.C. State is also in the works.
