BUFORD, Ga. – Isaiah Pryor, one of the top safety prospects in the class of 2017, recently visited Clemson.
The four-star from Lawrenceville-Archer (Georgia) was on campus in March for spring practice. Pryor spoke with TheClemsonInsider at Buford High School, before the Atlanta Opening Regional.
“It was good. I love the atmosphere. Just seeing the way they practice, I got a good feel for Clemson,” Pryor said.
Before last month’s trip, Pryor had been to Clemson, but it was his first time watching practice in Tigertown.
“They’re doing a great job and they’re always improving, constantly, they’re rebuilding the football stadium and all that stuff,” Pryor said. “They’re really making strides to get better.”
With an offer sheet that also includes Ohio State, Michigan and LSU, Pryor has no list of favorites.
“Just enjoying the experience and keeping an open-mind right now,” he said.
The 6-1, 190-pound sophomore will consider several factors as he moves through the process.
“Definitely academics, that’s the first part,” Pryor said. “I want to make sure I have a good relationship with my coaches, not only for me, but for my family, too, to make sure that they’re comfortable.”
