Once again Matthew Crownover rose to the occasion when facing one of the nation’s top pitchers.  Crownover went 7.0 innings and only gave up five hits, one run and one earned run as he looked like the future MLB high draft pick out pitching Louisville’s Kyle Funkhouser.

“I had a little chip on my shoulder.  That guy is going to be making millions of dollars in a few days and I probably won’t, but by God he wasn’t going to beat me today,” said Crownover.
