NASCAR Challenge - Final Standings - Champion Announced 11/22/2011

I will update these every week so just keep checking this thread. I have changed the scoring system slightly to make it easier for me and you. Basically, you get however many points your driver earns for that race. You want to have the most points at the end of the season. The Chase will start after 26 races where we will condense it down to the top 10 plus 2 wild card qualifiers. So just b/c you get down don't give up b/c you will still have a chance in the end. Just keep picking winners. I will do a "If the Chase Started Today" leaderboard after the first 5 races so everybody can see how close they are to making the chase. Also, just b/c you missed a few races doesn't mean you are out of it. Start playing now, b/c the final 2 chase spots are reserved for those who have the most wins this year so if you can pick well you can charge to the front in no time.

in that situation you would receive the points he would have received had he been eligible to receive points.

for example: had anyone taken Trevor Bayne they would have received 47 points for the Daytona 500

The award only pays $1 Million dollars in NASCAR, but here it gets you free inside access to the Rock and all the Glory associated with beating everybody who quit playing after the Daytona 500 which is worth much more. I think you missed my pick in the Dover thread. I had Kenseth to win and I dropped in the standings and it still only shows me with 2 wins. ( I should have 3 now)

Unfortunately, you also picked Tony Stewart. Therefore you got the least of the 2 drivers. Next time, remember if you want to change your pick that's fine, but just edit your original pick or delete it all together. :D
