One weekend after the most impressive weekend series win, we lose a series with VT. While they are a much improved team over last year, VT is in no way a better team than Clemson, but the bats just suddenly went cold after a blistering hot stretch. Quite simply, Clemson can't afford to stay cold at the plate much longer, as this is the beginning of a very tough and important stretch.
