Beating UNC 5-4 with its ace huge. Right-hander Tomas Cruz has been great his last two stints in relief against Furman and UNC.

+1 I said earlier in the week that I thought at best we could take 1. I was thinking of a Sunday game against a #3 pitcure, not the ace. Maybe the Carolina game can be attributed to the rain/cold/rivalry and we choked and Furman was a fluke. Who knows. Great win any way you slice it up.

I totally think Furman was a fluke as well. Who's on tap next? I am too wrapped up in basketball to delve in yet!;)

furman is a pretty good team. no real shame in losing to them...just hurt when we almost had a no hitter and then go straight from that to a loss

Maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea. We have midnight madness for basketball kickoff...why not for baseball? :confused:
