Interesting Observations Of Swinney Presser

What I observed with the most recent presser, and the responses by the posters on this site. First off, let's set up the situation: after the GT, Wake, NCSU, USC, and most especially the Orange Bowl games, the posts here were about like this:

"OL is soft"
"players are not mentally strong enough"
"need better interior lines"
"fire Joey Batson!!!!"

QUACK QUACK QUACK!!!!!

All the threads about getting rid of Batson, etc. etc. etc.

Then the presser, and a reporter asks Swinney about the toughness of the team, about Batson, and about criticism from message boards. Swinney shoots it ALL down: says his team is tough, says Batson is not only staying but that he's the greatest S&C Coach in the nation. Calls all the criticism "a joke".

The members here eat it up with a straw....."YAY for Coach Swinney!! You TELL HIM!! BATSON FOR MAYOR OF CLEMSON!!! WE ARE THE TOUGHEST COLLEGE FOOTBALL TEAM IN TEH UNIVERZZZ!!!!!!"

"Of course Swinney ain't talking about OUR little ole' website. He be TELLIN' IT LIKE IT 'TIZ ABOUT ALL DEM OTHER SITES!!! NOT US!!!" LULZ

Do ya'll even bother to read what you post here? Five minutes after hitting the "Submit Post" button, do you even remember what it was you posted?? Or what side of the fence you happened to place yourselves on when you posted it?

99% of what you said in there was a lie. There is still plenty of people who thinks batson should go and I'm one of them. But if dabo wants to keep him thats his choice, he's the one who's inside the program so I trust his decision.

BTW man why do you bother SO MUCH on reading everything about clemson. You seriously go thro all the clemson threads? Why not just stick to whatever site you cock lovers like to go to?

I'm just trying to bring an objective perspective to the table....to promote more thoughtful discussions than what you typically see here, as well as helping the member-base to grow intellectually as well as spiritually. I'm what you might call an ambassador for this site.
