Clemson will play Ga Tech 2:30 this Thursday

Clemson will be the Number 5 seed and Ga Tech will be the 12 seed


Seeding will be as follows

Thursday's first round 8. Va Tech vs. 9. Miami, noon 5. Clemson vs. 12. Georgia Tech, 2:30 7. Maryland vs. 10. N.C. State, 7 6. Boston College vs. 11. Virginia, 9:30
UNC's the No. 1 seed in the ACC Tournament after Sunday's 79-71 win over Duke.
Wake Forest's 96-88 win over Clemson gives the Deacs (11-5) the No. 2 slot — by virtue of its win over UNC on Jan. 11 — and drops Duke (11-5) to the No. 3 seed.
Florida State's 63-53 win over Virginia Tech on Sunday clinched the No. 4 seed and the first-round bye for the Seminoles (10-6).
No. 5 Clemson (9-7) will play No. 12 Georgia Tech in the first round on Thursday.
Boston College (9-7) is the No. 6 seed and will play No. 11 Virginia.
Maryland (7-9) takes the No. 7 seed and faces No. 10 N.C. State on Thursday.
Virginia Tech (7-9), which lost its only matchup with Maryland, is No. 8 and plays No. 9 Miami.

With a 5 seed that would mean we would have to win 3 str8 games to get into the final game and win a 4th to win the ACC title....

Lets hope that this loss today dont get the troops down and they can pull out of the slump they are in


Winner of this game will play the 4 seed who is Florida State

Then the winner of that game will play UNC who is the Number 1 seed that is if the Tarheels knock off the winner of the 8/9 game

Is there a ACCT bracket sheet posted anywhere? Who would the Clemson-GT winner play in the 2nd round?

The brackets will be (in print with team names by morning) but you can find a generic one on line if you needed too at ACC.com

With the way we are playing we will probably only play 2 more games this year. A loss in the acc first round and the ncaa first round. I hope it don't happen but we are not playing well here lately.

The game yesterday was played well on the offensive boards but we gave up too many easy baskets on the defensive boards.......

We have to play like we want it and play to WIN

Honestly, I think you could flip a coin between Clemson and FSU, and they beat us twice, so we will beat them Friday. Mark it down: Tigers go to semifinals!!!

I agree Buff. We are too closely matched for them to win 3 out of 3.

FSU matches or even trumps our athleticism. i don't like the matchup, but i would like to get past GT and get another shot at them on a neutral court.
