Michigan State may be the right medicine

Michigan State has lost nine in a row since beating UConn on opening day. The Spartans were swept two games over the weekend at Bethune-Cookman. They were swept in a three-game series by UNC Wilmington.

The Tigers have a nice shot to rebound from the heartbreaker Sunday in Chapel Hill.

Two blow-out victories over Michigan State will set up nice for a big weekend series at Tigerfield against Wake. This could be a REAL turning point for this team!!!

I'd take no team for granted at this point. After all, Clemson lost to Furman a week ago. And another northern team played VERY well in-conference this weekend when BC took 2 of 3 from FSU.

That being said, Mich State isn't very good. Neither is Wake for that matter... swept by UVA this past weekend, being outscored 47 - 13. Hopefully, this week can be a 5 game sweep.
