We have some serious batting issues!!!

I am baffled that for the second year in a row we seem to have issues hitting the baseball. We have more talent than what we have shown so far at the plate. Thank gfoodness we have great pitching so far this year or we'd be in serious trouble.

I heard from somebody on t-net that they have an extremely wide stance. I hadn't noticed that before. The person said their stance reminds them of Albert Puljos. But most people can't do what he does!!!

We have also been picked off several times including two today. What's up with the base running??? Hopefully this is just the early season cobb webs!!!

Thank godness Parker came out of his woes today. 6 RBI and 2 HR I think.

Hitting is contagious. I expect this team to break out and start scoring runs soon.

It is true that many Clemson hitters have a wide stance. Not necessarily a overly wide stance, however, and I don't think the Puljos comparison is accurate. This teams' problem has more to do with approach. The number of left handed hitters hurts the lineup. Similarly, this team struggles against good breaking pitches, like USC's pitchers excell at.
