Tigers lose to FSU today.

Yep, we are not looking too good right now. I hope they can get it together for the ACC tournament.

I couldn't agree more, Grant has shown signs of being a good player and with more experience i think he will be.

Hello, everybody. Want to introduce myself. I'm John Brasier. I'll be handling most of the news out of Clemson for TheClemsonInsider.com
I'm very excited and I want to thank everybody for being part of this. Between the energy Dabo Swinney and his staff have brought (Keeping Spiller was huge, too), the great success of Oliver Purnell's team and the promise of another great baseball season, we couldn't have picked a better time.
I am glad the regular season in basketball is running down. I'm ready for the ACCs and NCAAs. I think the Tigers are, too. The Tigers' depth should serve them well for tournament play. A win at WF this weekend would be huge because it would likely mean a top four seed and a first-round bye in Atlanta.
Barring emergencies, I'll be at every spring practice and home baseball game to keep you posted on what's going on.
Got something to share me? I'd love to hear from you. Go Tigers!
John

It will be nice to get a different opinion after listening to the same outfit for a LONG time.

Excited to be here and looking forward to what you have to bring to this new website.

Folks:
I've lived in South Carolina and followed Clemson for 24 years. My first game in the Valley was in 1985 -- a Tiger victory over UVa with Dan Majkowski and Barry Word.
I was the high school basketball editor at The State for a few years (I was there for Stanley Roberts, Joe Rhett, Barry Manning, JoJo English, etc.) before going to the Myrtle Beach Sun News as college reporter (Coastal. Clemson, USC) and golf writer then sports editor/columnist.
After a brief stint at the Knoxville News-Sentinel (I hate that shade of orange), I returned as sports editor/columnist of the Anderson Independent-Mail. When that paper started cutting back its coverage, I moved over to be the first sports editor of The Greenville Journal.
I live in Anderson with my wife Amanda, and two daughters, Jennings, 5, and Sheridan, 2. We're expecting a son later this month.
I used to play a lot of golf. As I mentioned, I have two young daughters.

Good to meet you. I hope you like Anderson and do not try to compare it to New York (insider joke). I really look forward to getting a lot of good inside Clemson info from you.

Thanks John.

Welcome aboard John. I'm also a "newby" to this board as of today (3/7/09). Be forewarned, Robert is not going to be your biggest problem, it's going to be all of us experts that know nothing about everything, or is it everything about nothing?
