Imagine this:

COLUMBIA, S.C. -- The Obama administration has rejected South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford's request to use $700 million in federal stimulus money to pay down state debt. PDF: Obama Letter To Sanford (http://www.wyff4.com/download/2009/0316/18941737.pdf)
White House Budget Director Peter Orszag said Monday in a letter to that the federal stimulus law doesn't allow President Barack Obama to make an exception for that use of the funds.Sanford sought a waiver last week, asking to pay off debt rather than use the money to create jobs and avoid deep program cuts.Sanford has criticized the $787 billion stimulus plan, saying it will lead to higher taxes and debt and he is criticizing Obama and Democrats for airing an ad in the state that says the governor is playing politics with the stimulus cash instead of using it for health care, jobs and schools.

Great political move for a potential Republican Presidential nominee. He refuses the money which makes him look great to conservatives and is forced to use the money by Obama so the people on the left have to shut up about it. This will help him!!!

I agree with that. The part I was saying imagine this about was the fact that Barry told him no to using the money wisely.

Barry is increasingly becoming a failure as a President. He is now trying to spin that the fundamentals of the economy are strong. I remember when McCain said that he ripped McCain apart.
