ACC Tournament Seeding Scenarios

Wondering about the Tigers' ACC Tournament seeding? According to my calculations, the Tigers could finish anywhere from 4th to 6th. Still lots of games to play.
Basically, to get a first-round bye, the Tigers need to beat WF and hope FSU loses to VT. Actually, a No. 6 seed wouldn't be that bad because it would probably mean Duke in the second round.

STANDINGS IF Clemson beats WF and favorites win the remaining games. ...
1. UNC 13-3. 2. DUKE 11-5. 3. WF (10-6, 4-1 with other teams in tie). 4. FSU (10-6, 2-2). 5. Clemson (10-6, 2-3). 6. BC (10-6, 1-3). 7. Maryland (8-8, split with Miami but beat No. 1 seed UNC). 8. Miami (8-8, split with Maryland but lost to UNC). 9. VT 7-9. 10. N.C. State 5-11. 11. UVa. 3-13. 12. GT 1-15

MATCHUPS:
Clemson vs. GT, winner to play FSU
BC vs. UVa., winner to play WF
Maryland vs. N.C. St., winner to play Duke
Miami vs. VT, winner to play UNC

IF Clemson loses and other favorites win. ...

Clemson plays UVa., first round then Duke in the second round

I think mezmrin is right. Losing Sunday(if we have to, I'd rather win) might not be a nail in our coffin. I think I would rather face Duke in the second round versus FSU. On the flip side, it is hard to beat a team 3 times in one season. I know we could take them if we face them again.

TigerPappy-I'm one of those women that truly LOVES college sports...especially when the Tigers are involved. I truly feel(in my best unbiased opinion) that we will be playing next Sunday....from my mouth to God's ears!:)

i hope so, but if i was a gambling man, which i am, I wouldn't bet on us making the championship game again this year.

A girls gotta believe and I do believe in OP...and I'm not trying to be polyanna at all. I think it is possible and I NEVER thought I would ever say that in my lifetime. Geez, if we could get Raymond to play like he did Tuesday night, there's an equation buster for other teams. There are many scenarios that could play out next week...here's my hope: The Booker that played Duke, The Raymond that played Virginia, the Potter that played Va. Tech, the Rivers that played Ga Tech. God you can imagine if all those showed up on the same day....forgive me I'm a dreamer;) Nonetheless...GO TIGERS!
