do we expect Brownell to sign anyone else for next season.
I would love to see him bring in a shooter/scorer even if it were a JUCO player
After watching the team go 12 minutes Sat. without a FG, he's going to need more players who can actually fill up the basket at times.
I also hope he can get another big body and a point guard for the next season. A team with great guard play, especially at the point, can usually go farther in the NCAA tournament than those that want to press and run the entire game and depend on layups for scoring.

I would hope so. IMHO, we need another big man more than anything

We need a big man that's a force. A 6' - 9" jumping jack can beat a flat-footed 7' - 2" every week day and twice on Sunday.

I heard Brownell on WCCP yesterday saying he would like to sign one or two more guards this year if he can find the right ones.
He also said in response to aa caller that he would love to find another guard like Stitt who can slash and shot. Brownell said other than Stitt Clemson doesnt have that type of guard.
He hoped to sign a big man and another guard next year.
I think they will have some problems if they don't get some scoring guards in the program and at least two big men over the this year and next.

I still maintain that we should have kept Purnell. He would have eventually hit it big and gotten us to the Elite 8 or so.
