Just home from a long day in God's country. First let me thank everyone that came by the Clemson Insider Gate today. It was a huge success. Some of you that RSVP'd didn't make it by and you missed a great one.
Before I go any further major, major thanks to Dean, Lee and Kenny (TigerPappy, TigerInConstruction and TigerPawlounge). Dean was amazing on the grill and cooked 80 burger, some Q and a good number of dogs pretty much single handed. I did see Joe21 helping him at one point. Thanks a bunch Dean. I owe you a big one.
Thanks to Lee and Ron Scarborough for helping with the advertising to the fans. They were both amazing in giving out some of our schedules and getting the site some attention.
Thanks to Kenny for the cooler. Also thanks to Lee, Kenny and Dean for the use of their great tents.
Also special thanks to Cindy (Dean's better half) for an awesome ClemsonInsider sign.
My biggest regret is I feel like I only spent about 10 minutes will each one that attended as I tried to talk with everyone. The next Gate will be planned for a time when I don't have to cover a game and get info up on the site so I can spend more time with all the great members of the site.
Thanks again for everyone that stopped by to see us today. I think it is safe to say that everyone left with a good group of new or stronger relationships. I know I did.
For those that didn't make it, you missed spending about 2 hours with Tajh Boyd and his family (including some friends that came all the way down from Virginia). Some on the board have already posted this, but you will not find a nice family in the world. Tajh will be a great addition to Clemson, on and off the field. He couldn't have been nicer to the Clemson Insiders in attendance today. He took time to say bye to every single one before leaving. Rod McDowell also stopped by for a bit.
Last thanks goes to Kristen and Madison for taking such great care of Molly today.
