TheClemsonInsider.com caught up with senior Dalton Freeman following Saturday’s scrimmage.
“I thought it went very good. There were good things on both sides of the ball. There were a little bit too many turnovers here and there but that was just trying to make something happen. Overall I think if we play within the system we will be a pretty good team,” said Freeman.
The coaching staff limited Dalton’s playing time Saturday so they could see how Ryan Norton and Jay Guillermo handled significant playing time. Although Dalton has played some right this week in practice his limited playing time Saturday was at center.
“Center, I played all center today,” said Freeman.
How are the young offensive linemen coming along?
“They are showing a lot of improvement. Right now they just need to quit thinking so much and just go out there and play fast. It was there first live situation so obviously they were a little bit tentative. They are getting there,” said Freeman.
Which guards played beside Dalton when he was in with the ones?
“Kalon and Shatley,” replied Freeman.
