TheClemsonInsider.com caught up with future Tigers Cordrea Tankersley Saturday afternoon. The 4-star corner was impressed with Clemson’s 25-24 victory over LSU in the Chick-Fil-A Bowl.
“They really deserved it. I couldn’t be prouder for the Tiger Nation,” said Tankersley.
Cordrea had hoped to be enrolling at Clemson next week, but will now enroll later this year.
“I needed four points on my ACT, but only scored three leaving me one short from qualifying,” said Tankersley.
The top corner now plans to enroll in May.
“Clemson told me not to not hold my head down because they know and see I working extremely hard. So now I am going home after exams. I will take the ACT again to get the one point and move to Clemson in May,” said Tankersley.
Has Cordrea talked with Clemson’s new defensive back coach?
“I haven’t talked to him yet. I am looking forward to meeting him,” said Tankersley.
