The Clemson coaching staff got good news Sunday morning when Marcus Edmond gave his commitment to the Tigers. Marcus gave the commitment to head coach Dabo Swinney Sunday morning.
Edmond had previously been committed to NC State. The 6-0, 170 pound athlete had offers that included NC State, Arizona and Wake Forest.
As a senior Marcus played quarterback and passed for 1230 yards and rushed for 858 yards for a combined 24 touchdowns. As a defensive back Marcus had four interceptions and 46 tackles.
Marcus is expected to play defensive back for the Tigers. Edmond becomes the 15th commitment for the Tiger’s 2013 class.
