Around the ACC

The ACC went 44-8 in non-conference action over the last week with six teams (Florida State, Maryland, Miami (FL), NC State, North Carolina, and Virginia) sporting undefeated weeks. Seven teams (Florida State, Georgia Tech, Miami (FL), NC State, North Carolina, Virginia, and Virginia Tech) are ranked in at least one of the three major polls this week led by the top-ranked Tar Heels. The three teams slated to join the ACC in coming seasons (Louisville, Notre Dame, and Pittsburgh) also continued their strong starts, going 9-1 last week.
