Although it is only May, super sophomore Freddie Phillips is preparing for his junior season at Pelion.

“I am working out every day.  I am working on my speed and my strength,” said Phillips.

Interest is picking up for the top receiver prospect.

“I am hearing more from Florida.  I have been getting a lot of mail from Virginia and Duke just sent and asked for my transcripts,” said Phillips.

When asked about his current leaders, Phillips responded “I don’t have any right now.  I am keeping things open”.

Freddie does know where he will be in early June.  Last year he camped at Clemson and a return visit is in the works.

“Yes sir, I will be back,” said Freddie.

Are there any other visits in the works?

“I am planning some, but I haven’t set any yet,” replied Phillips.
