4-star running back Adam Choice has committed to the Clemson Tigers.
“Yes sir, I have committed, ” Choice told TheClemsonInsider.com.
The 5-9, 200 standout gave Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney the good news this afternoon.
“I talked with coach Pearman earlier today and he wanted me to call coach Swinney. He was in meetings most of the day. I talked with coach Swinney around 3:15 for about ten minutes. He was excited to have me on board,” said Choice.
Why did Adam decide to make the commitment today?
“I had talked with my family last night. It was the best thing for all of us. I had always said that once I know where I want to be I would get it done,” replied Choice.
How does it feel to have the decision made?
“It feels good. I am relieved but at the same time I know I need to continue to work hard so I can make the team better and myself better,” replied Choice.
Adam talked with DeShaun Watson at the spring game and the two have been keeping in touch. Is Adam excited about the class Clemson is putting together?
“Yes sir, I am,” replied Choice.
Adam has narrowed the field to Auburn and Clemson before selecting Clemson.
Next week Adam and his family will visit Clemson.
The prize recruit had an impressive offer list that include Georgia, Florida, Auburn, Georgia Tech, Tennessee, Texas and others.
