The Tigers continued their recruiting momentum on Wednesday when Korie Rogers, one of the nation’s top linebackers, gave a verbal commitment to Clemson.

Rogers’ impressive offer list included the likes of Georgia, Florida, Auburn, Nebraska, North Carolina, Kentucky, Penn State, Wisconsin and many others.

The 6-1, 210 prospect was recruited by coach Elliott for the Tigers.

Korie becomes the first defensive verbal commitment for the Tiger’s 2014 class and the eighth overall.  Rogers is the fourth prospect to commit from the state of Georgia.
