Chris Okey just text TheClemsonInsider.com to let us know that he will be enrolling at Clemson.
Okey decided during the second round of Thursday’s Major League Baseball draft that he didn’t need to wait any longer to make his decision and that he would enroll at Clemson this summer.
The decision is a huge lift for the Tigers as they land the nation’s top defensive catcher.
Chris’ mother was a cheerleader for the Tigers in the 80’s and he has long dreamed of playing for the Tigers.
Earlier Thursday night Austin Meadows was selected with the No. 9 selection by the Pittsburgh Pirates. Okey and all of the other Clemson signees are expected to enroll giving the Tigers one of the nation’s top recruiting classes for the second year in a row.
