2015 defensive end George Brown made the long trip from Cincinnati, Ohio to Clemson for the first session of the Dabo Swinney High School Football Camp.
“It was a six hour drive. It wasn’t too bad,” said Brown.
George was impressed with his visit to Clemson.
“It was a great camp. Coach Hobby and coach Swinney are both good coaches,” said Brown.
Coach Hobby impressed the 2015 standout.
“I really enjoyed working with coach Hobby. He really knows the game and teaches it very well,” said Brown.
Did the visit to Clemson’s camp improve their chances of landing the prize recruit?
“Yes, Clemson is definitely in my tops,” replied Brown.
George already have a very impressive offer list that already stands at over 30. The list includes Clemson, Florida, Arkansas, Kansas State, West Virginia, North Carolina, Baylor, UCLA, Michigan State, Louisville, Kentucky and many others.
When asked about his leaders, Brown responded, “I don’t think I’m just ready to name my top ten or 12”.
George has been on a number of visits already. How did the visit to Clemson compare to the others?
“I would have to say it’s one of the best visits I’ve had,” replied Brown.
The summer camp tour will continue with several other visits.
“I am going to the Rivals 250 underclassmen combine. I am going to Ohio State and Michigan State. I don’t have any other visits planned yet,” said Brown.
The decision timing is not clear at this time.
“I am not quite sure yet. Whenever I find the best fit and am 100 percent sure,” said Brown.
