Bell’s visit exceeds expectations

4-star receiver Shadell Bell took his official visit to Clemson over the weekend.  TCI caught up with the future Tigers Sunday.

“It was a great visit.  It was everything I expected and more,” said Bell.

Who made the visit with Shadell?

“My mom, grandma, uncle and brother came up.  It was my grandma’s first visit.  She really liked it,” said Bell.

What was the highlight of the visit?

“It was just bonding with the team and the other commitments.  We got to ask all our questions and experience what it was like to go to Clemson,” replied Bell.

Freshman Trevion Thompson was the player host for Bell.

“We got along real good.  We just hung out with some of the other commits and their hosts.  We had a good time,” said Bell.

Shadell spent some time recruiting Christian Wilkins during the visit.

“He loved it and ate real good.  I talked some with his grandmother.  She really liked it.  The coaches didn’t pressure him and let him experience everything.  He will make his decision around the first of the year he said,” said Bell.

In just about six weeks Bell and the others will enroll at Clemson.

“That was the shocking part.  It went by so fast for the official visit to come.  We talked about how soon it would be time to get here.  I am ready,” said Bell.

How does it feel to be part of one of the nation’s best 2015 classes?

“It is amazing.  We have all really bonded.  We are all connected and all together,” replied Bell.
