Let’s give you a little clarity on what is going on at Clemson right now in regards to the coaching situations.
As we know Jeff Scott and Tony Elliott have been promoted to co-offensive coordinator status to replace Chad Morris who left Clemson on Monday to become SMU’s new head coach.
Let me tell you why Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney went in this direction. Swinney understood that Morris was not going to stay in Clemson for long. He knew he had one of the brightest minds he knew and that his ambitions were to one day be a head coach.
Like most of us, Swinney figured he would have Morris for two years at best so from the beginning he had Scott start following and learning everything he could from Morris.
