Brownell on his way to having two Tigers in NFL

By Will Vandervort.

Clemson men’s basketball coach Brad Brownell was at the Clemson indoor practice facility on Thursday to cheer on his former point guard, Rod Hall, as tries to make his dream of becoming a player in the NFL a reality.

If Hall is to make it into the NFL, he will be the second former player under Brownell at Clemson to make it on an NFL roster. The first was DeAndre Hopkins, who played on Brownell’s 2010-’11 squad as a reserve player. Of course Hopkins is best known for his record-breaking career as a wide receiver at Clemson, but Brownell told the media he is taking credit anyway.

Here is what Brownell had to say about Hall’s workout in front of six NFL scouts.
