At 2 o’clock this afternoon, four-star defensive tackle [autotag]Nyles Pinckney[/autotag] will announce to the world where he’s off to play college football.
Clemson, South Carolina, Georgia and Georgia Tech are the finalists.
Earlier this summer, during an interview with TheClemsonInsider, Pinckney revealed his to commit to one of the two instate schools: Clemson or South Carolina.
Since that interview, Pinckney visited Clemson twice and South Carolina once. He also made stops at Georgia and Georgia Tech.
Clemson co-offensive coordinator/running backs coach Tony Elliott serves as Pinckney’s area recruiter.
According to Rivals, Pinckney is the No. 14 ranked defensive tackle in the class of 2016. Nationally, he’s ranked as the No. 129 overall prospect in the country.
The 6-3, 290-pound senior will announce the decision during a ceremony at Whale Branch Early College High School in Seabrook.
