Swinney is trending, again

Once again Dabo Swinney is trending on all the social media networks and it has nothing to do with what he has said or any dance move.

During the football season, Swinney’s celebrations, dances and acronyms made him one of the more popular sports figures in the country. But on Friday night, with a winter-storm hitting the Clemson area, the Clemson football coach made the best of a bad situation. (check out all the Tweets, Instagrams and mentions below).

This weekend is an official recruiting weekend in Clemson and Swinney want those recruits and his current players to at least have a little fun with the three-inch snowfall that hit the area. Keep in mind, Swinney does have access to a 110-foot hill that is perfect for sledding.

I doubt Swinney thought sledding down Clemson’s famous east hill would make the rounds around Twitter, Instagram and Facebook like it has, but overnight the Clemson coach’s slide down the hill has become one of the best moments in sports this week.
