Less than 24 hours after second-ranked Clemson earned a 31-0 shutout victory over No. 3 Ohio State in the College Football Playoff semifinal at the Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, Ariz., to advance to the national championship game against Alabama for the second straight season, the Tigers returned home and were greeted warmly by a large turnout of Clemson fans on a rainy night.
