Clemson has missed the final cut for one its most recent offers at corner.
Three-star in-state CB Aidyn Wiggins (Byrnes) named his four finalists on Friday, with Auburn, Syracuse, LSU and Virginia Tech all making the cut. All four schools are expected to get official visits with a decision likely to come in July.
The Tigers offered Wiggins earlier this month, hoping to squeeze into his official visit schedule, but as of now that isn’t going to happen.
Clemson already has one cornerback committed in the 2027 class in the three-star legacy recruit Christian Chancellor. Four-star Jayden Aparicio Bailey and three-star Bryant Robinson are two targets at the position set to be on hand for the big official visit weekend. Three-star Nash Johnson is set to take an official to Clemson, June 12-14.
