Schmidt goes No. 595 in MLB Draft

Clemson senior pitcher Clate Schmidt was drafted No. 595 in the 20th round of the MLB draft by the Detroit Tigers on Saturday. Schmidt finished 8-5 this season with a 4.83 ERA and had 68 strikeouts. He led the Tigers strong finish with a great performance at Notre Dame and in the ACC Tournament.
