Tigers Hold Lead for Register

Last month top 2014 linebacker Chris Register camped at Clemson.  The Dudley High standout has been off the road since.

“I haven’t been anywhere since I went to Clemson,” said Register.

Another visit is on tap for July.

“I am going to visit Carolina (North).  I am not sure of the date yet, but it will probably be in the middle of July,” said Register.

The offer list stands at two, but expect that to change over the next few months.

“Clemson and Indiana are my two offers.  North Carolina is the other school showing a lot of interest,” said Register.

The prize recruit plans to be back at Clemson to see the game day experience in Death Valley.

“I am going to go everywhere possible this fall.  I plan to go back to Clemson.  I want to see the Clemson game against South Carolina,” said Register.

Chris expects Dudley to have a strong team next fall.

“I think we will do pretty good.  Everything is starting to pickup.  We are working hard this summer.  You might as well call it practice,” said Register.

When asked about his leaders, Register responded, “I would have to say Clemson is the leader right now”.

If the Heels were to offer where would they stand?

“They would move up there.  I take everybody as equal right now.  I am going to take my time and look at everybody.  I plan to wait a while before making a decision,” replied Register.
