The Clemson coaching staff got some great news Sunday when All-American defensive tackle Scott Pagano committed to the Tigers.
“It was just like family there. The coaches are great and they have a good structure for the athletes. If just felt good being there,” said Pagano.
Did having family close to Clemson help your decision?
“It made it easier,” replied Pagano.
What was the coaches reaction when you told them you wanted to be a Tiger?
“I actually told them this weekend. They were so excited. My parents were crying. Coach Swinney said he could do cartwheels and hug my kneck. I am just so happy to be there,” said Pagano.
How does it feel to get the commitment over?
it is a big, big relief. just a big blessing to be able to get this chance to be recruiting by clemson. clemson is where my heart is. Family is very important to me and Clemson is one big family,” said Pagano.
Pagano is the 15th commitment for the Clemson class of 2013 and the first defensive tackle.
