4-star athlete Jayron Kearse will announce his decision next week at a press conference.

“It will be next Friday.  I am announcing at the school at 3,” said Kearse.

Jayron has already made his decision and his is just waiting for the press conference to let everyone know where he plans to play next season.

“I know.  I am just waiting until Friday to announce.  I haven’t told the school yet,” said Kearse.

What did you like about the school that was selected?

“It is a place I can see myself playing for the next three or four years.  They have great coaches.  I will get a chance to play early,” said Kearse.

How does it feel to get the decision behind you?

“It feels real good.  It is hard to talk to all of the coaches and they are all trying to sell you on their school.  I am going to just stop talking to the coaches after I announce Friday,” replied Kearse.

Jayron has previously made commitments to Auburn and Miami.  How is this commitment going to be different?

“This time I truly know where I want to play.  I did my research this time.  I didn’t just make a decision based on one visit.  I have matured a lot since my last commitment,” Kearse told TheClemsonInsider.com.

How does the family feel about the commitment?

“They feel good about my decision.  They think it is a great place also.  They haven’t seen it yet but they did all the research with me.  They know it is a great place for me,” said Kearse.
