A Moment of Truth

By Wayne Gallman.

Clemson verbal commitment Wayne Gallman, one of the top running backs in the South, is doing a diary with TheClemsonInsider.com.  In this edition the prize recruit discusses the All In BBQ, the Hoover 7-on-7 tournament, the latest on Robert Nkemdiche and much more!

We had a good time at the All In BBQ.  I hung out with everybody, but mostly the running backs.  I got to talk some with Tajh.  We played the NCAA football game.  I was the only recruit dancing.  Sammy was also dancing.

I was glad to see Tyshon go ahead and commit.  We were already close.  I really wanted him to go ahead and commit.  I had been talking to him for a while about it.

We went down to Hoover and played in the 7-on-7 tournament.  We did pretty good overall.  We have to get better as a team.  Some of the teams played better like we should have.  All I played was defense.  They didn’t show me off on offense.

I saw all the talk about Robert going to Ole Miss.  I will say he is 100 percent committed to Clemson.  He was just doing that for his brother.

It is hard for me to watch all of that.  I don’t associate with all that.  When everyone keeps putting me out there like that it kind of makes me mad.  Coach Elliott will call and just tell me not to worry about it.

We put the pads on Wednesday.  Next week we go to camp Covington to have our camp and work as a team.

I am not sure when I will get back to Clemson now that our practices are starting back.
