TheClemsonInsider.com caught up with Malliciah Goodman, Stephon Anthony and Xavier Brewer following the Tiger’s second practice of the year Saturday.
Malliciah Goodman – DE
On Focus and Energy Level at Practice Through Two Days
“It is basically that work ethic we put in and that focus. You don’t want to come out to a practice and have some guys focused and you have other guys joking around and talking on the outside. You want everyone focused, that is pretty much how it has been so far, and it has been great. Everybody is getting their energy from Coach Venables, it is showing on the field, everybody is flying around and energy is great.”
On Team Leadership from Defense Entering 2012
“It is all about accountability and helping that guy beside you.”
Stephone Anthony – MLB
On Entering Fall Camp for the 2nd Time
“We are a different team. We are a growing family, we understand the vision and the hard work that it takes to get back to where we want to go.”
On How He Has Improved Entering Year 2
“I had a good summer, I put a lot of work in as far as knowing more of the game. I have more knowledge. I am working on my technique. Coach Venables is teaching me about technique and I am just trying to take the little things and get better day by day.”
On Carry from the Spring to Fall Camp
“The information we had in the spring, we are a lot better with it now. Things come a lot easier to us. We still have a lot of work to do, but we are working.”
On Having Keith Adams as an Asset
“He is a great asset to our linebacker corps. He is a great guy and he stays on us. He is going to work us, he is going to make sure we don’t take a play off.”
Xavier Brewer – DB
On the Play of the Defense Two Days Into Camp
“Guys were flying around today, we had a lot of fun out there. It is great to be back out, seeing everyone get better.”
On Translating Work In the Spring and Summer Into Fall Camp
“It was really smooth actually. There were a few little things Coach Harbison wanted us to tighten up, that we weren’t really working. That we had forgotten over the summer, but that is just a few technical things. Overall with the plays it has been a real smooth transition.”
