TheClemsonInsider.com caught up with Clemson cornerback Darius Robinson following Thursday’s practice.

“It helped us.  We just practiced getting our assignments down and staying in place.  We worked on technique and got a chance to keep our eyes in the right place and stuff like that,” said Robinson.

Would you rather be outside hitting someone?

“Any time we have weather conditions like this you would rather be outside of course but at the same time there are times where you have to be inside so you have to work with what you got,” said Robinson.

How is the defense adjusting to a new system?

“This system definitely works for a lot of us.  We just all studied real hard.  This is a real good defense to pickup on and I think we all like it,” said Robinson.

With a high tempo offense the defense has to see the field a lot more.

“Oh yeah, definitely.  It is just all about preparation, just studying the playbook and studying your opponents a lot,” said Robinson.
