Maturity Takes Bryant to New Level

Martavis Bryant has a very solid freshman season, but he is a different player this year.  TheClemsonInsider.com spoke with the for T.L. Hanna standout following Saturday’s scrimmage where Martavis led the receivers.

What has been the biggest difference in his performance this summer?

“Just maturity.  Giving the coaches trust and doing what I am supposed to do,” said Bryant.

Martavis is much more comfortable in the offense in year two under coach Morris.

“I am just playing fast and I know what I am doing now,” said Bryant.

Martavis is having fun this season and is excited about the 2012 Tigers.

“Yeah, lots of fun,” said Bryant.

Knowing he would be more of a factor the first two games provided some extra motivation this summer for Martavis, but that is not why his game has gone to a new level.

“It did and also just maturing and becoming a man.  It is a process in college.  You have to grow,” said Bryant.
