Clemson verbal commitment Dane Rogers started his senior season with a close 14-13 win over Burns.
“We started our season on Friday with a win. We played good on both sides of the ball,” said Rogers.
Dane had a great start to his season.
“I has two sacks and six tackles,” said Rogers.
Cousin Carlos Watkins keeps in touch to let Dane know how things are going at Clemson. Dane expects big things from the former Crest standout this year.
“I heard he is doing well up there. I can’t wait to see how he does as a freshman. I hope he makes history,” said Rogers.
The Crest standout plans to be in the Valley a few times this fall.
“I will probably get up for the second home game,” said Rogers.
The Clemson staff keeps in touch with Dane.
“They just tell me they can’t wait to get me down here. They tell me to stay hard on the books,” said Rogers.
