TheClemsonInsider.com caught up with Clemson verbal commitment Jordan Leggett. The Navarre High standout’s senior season is underway.
“We had our kickoff classic Thursday. It went pretty good. We had a lot of penalties. We lost by eight but we got to show our skills,” said Leggett.
Jordan had a strong performance Thursday.
“I had like five catches for around 40 yards,” said Leggett.
What does Navarre need to work on before they hit the field again?
“We have some stuff to work on like discipline. Other than that we need to work on our pass protection and run blocking,” replied Leggett.
Hurricane Isaac caused some troubles for Jordan and others in Florida this week.
“We had to board up our windows. We missed school on Monday,” said Leggett.
The Florida standout has been keeping in touch with a few of his future teammate.
“I talk some with DeShaun Watson and Wayne Gallman on Twitter. We try to keep in touch. I met Wayne at camp this summer,” said Leggett.
Jordan plans to watch Clemson battle Auburn Saturday night.
“I’ll be watching,” said Leggett.
