5-star defensive tackle Montravius Adams visited the Georgia Dome Saturday night where he watched two of his favorites battle in the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Classic.
“It was great. I got to see two good teams. That is what I wanted to see,” said Adams.
Following Clemson’s victory Montravius spoke with the Clemson staff.
“I couldn’t talk with the coaches at the game, but I talked with them after the game. I talked to coach Swinney and coach Caldwell on the phone. They told me they wanted me to come up for a game,” said Adams.
Does the prize recruit plan to see a game in Death Valley this fall?
“I am going up there for a game. I am not sure which one yet,” replied Adams.
How did Montravius feel the Clemson defense played?
“It was real good. They played well, especially for a team with a new defensive coordinator,” replied Adams.
The atmosphere in the Georgia Dome impressed the Georgia standout.
“It was loud. It was a great atmosphere for both of the Tigers,” said Adams.
Montravius helped lead Dooley County to a victory Friday night. He had an impressive performance but feels he can do even better.
“Our game went good. We won 21-20 in overtime. I did okay. I had twelve tackles and three sacks. I think I could have done better,” said Adams.
The top defender doesn’t have any visits planned next weekend.
“I am not going anywhere next weekend,” said Adams.
