Clemson verbal commitment Wayne Gallman, one of the top running backs in the South, is doing a diary with TheClemsonInsider.com. In this edition the prize recruit discusses his impressive performance Friday night, his thoughts on the Florida State game, his plans to be back in the Valley and much more!
I had a good game last Friday. I almost had 200 yards rushing, but I had a couple of plays called back for holding. I had a run of around 60 and another of around 40 called back. I finished with 116 yards and two touchdowns.
I watched Clemson play Florida State in my living room. I didn’t go out of anything. I stayed home so I could watch the Tigers.
The looked real good until the fourth quarter. The defense will get better.
The coaches keep telling me to keep doing well this season. I am getting written letters every day from Clemson. Coach Caldwell told me he can’t wait until I get there. He says the offensive line knows my name by heart and thinks I will be big when I get there.
I will be there for Georgia Tech. I just talked to Tyshon (Dye) and he said he will be up there with me.
I can’t wait to get to Clemson next year. I can’t wait to make my whole life better.
David, Robert and I talk all the time about Clemson. We talk about it a lot. We talked about the Florida State game. We can’t believe what happened. All the plays on offense were incredible. The defense played well until the third quarter.
I know David and Robert are going to room together. I will probably room with Tyshon.
