What’s Cook’n with Dalvin

By Dalvin Cook

Clemson verbal commitment Dalvin Cook, one of the top 2014 running backs in the nation, is doing a diary with TheClemsonInsider.com.  In this edition the prize recruit talks about a visit from coach Elliott, his plans to visit Death Valley and much more!

Coach Elliott came to my game this week.  He came by the school and then came to the game.

I talked to him on the phone.  He said I looked good and he liked watching me play.  It was good having him come down.

We won 35-17.  I had a touchdown on defense.  I returned a fumble 90 yards.  I won the defensive MVP award.  I also had about 100 yards on offense.

I watched Clemson Thursday night.  Sammy had a great game.  It was good to see him back involved in the offense like he was last year.  Clemson is doing good right now.

Coach Elliott and I talked about when I can come up for a game.  I think I will try to get up for the South Carolina game.

We are trying to finish our season strong.  We start the playoffs in two weeks.
