Clemson verbal commitment Jae’lon Oglesby is having an outstanding junior season. His performance against Seneca is one for the record books.
“I broke the school rushing record with 385 yards on 22 carries with five touchdowns. I also broke the state record with a 99 yard touchdown run,” said Oglesby.
Coach Elliott was very impressed with the performance.
“I talked to coach Elliott. He told me it was a legendary performance and he doesn’t think it will be broken,” said Oglesby.
Jae’lon hopes to lead Daniel to a state championship.
“Everybody is focused and ready, especially me. I have to make up for last year. I cost us last year and I am going to make sure I make it up,” said Oglesby.
Each week Jae’lon takes time to watch the Tigers. How does he feel about the progress of the team?
“The offense is great and the defense is getting better,” said Oglesby.
Expect to see Daniel supporting the Tigers in November when they finish the season with three games in Death Valley.
“Oh yeah, I’ll be there for every game,” said Oglesby.
