Phillips enjoys Clemson blowout

2015 receiver Freddie Phillips has been a frequent visitor to Clemson this season.  Freddie was back in the Valley last weekend to watch Clemson whip Maryland.

“It was good.  It is always nice seeing them blow opponents out! I enjoyed it,” said Phillips.

The season is over for the two-way standout.

“We ended our season two Friday’s ago against Cresent,” said Phillips.

Freddie had an outstanding sophomore season.

“I had 34 catches for 457 yards.  I also played a little cornerback and had 31 tackles, one interception and six pass break ups,” said Phillips.

Expect to see the super soph back in the Valley the next two weeks.

“Yes sir.  South Carolina and NC State have both been showing big interest so if everything goes as planned I will be there for both games,” said Phillips.

When asked about his current leaders, Phillips responded, “I really don’t have a leader.  It is equal”.
