Jenkins Talks Lawson, Visit

Future Clemson receiver Ryan Jenkins was back in Death Valley Saturday night for the South Carolina game.

“This weekend was great at Clemson.  It was a crazy game.  The atmosphere was electric.  I wish Clemson could have gotten the win,” said Jenkins.

What is Ryan hearing from the Clemson staff right now?

“They can’t wait to get me there.  On Sunday I met with coach Morris and coach Scott.  We talked about the offense,” said Jenkins.

It is been a tough year for his brother Martin Jenkins who was sidelined with an injury.

“It has been real frustrating for him.  Sometimes for the away games we watch them at the house and he will be yelling at the TV.  He has never been so hungry.  He can’t wait to get back out there,”  said Jenkins.

Ryan brought good friend Carl Lawson with him on the trip to Clemson.

“I think Carl liked it a whole lot.  He really liked the game.  I don’t think Clemson losing had an impact on him at all.  He knows for the past few years Clemson has had some outstanding defensive ends like Adams, Bowers and Branch,” said Jenkins.

The 4-star receiver plans to work hard during the offseason to prepare for Clemson.

“I am going to be working my butt off.  For the month of June I am going down to Boca to train with a personal trainer and get in the best shape possible for when I get to Clemson,” said Jenkins.
