In late November several Clemson coaches made the trip to Florida to visit with 4-star Clemson verbal Jayron Kearse.
“Coach Venables, coach Harbison and coach Elliott came down in late November,” said Kearse.
The Florida standout had a great relationship with coach Cheese, but has remained firm with his commitment to the Tigers. What is Jayron hearing about the next defensive backs coach at Clemson?
“Nothing, other than he will be a great all around guy and coach and a spiritual guy,” replied Kearse.
In just a few weeks the prize recruit will be back in Tigertown.
“I will be coming on my official on January 11,” said Kearse.
Jayron knows he will have a chance to see the field next fall for the Tigers.
“I’m really excited because the earlier I can show the world my talent the better off I am because I definitely have dreams of playing in the NFL. It’s a great shot for me,” said Kearse.
In January Jayron will head to San Antonio for the US Army All-American game.
“It is going to be a great experience for me to meet some other great players and some of them are going to Clemson,” said Kearse.
Will the All-American be doing some recruiting for the Tigers in San Antonio?
“Most definitely, but most of all I am just going to have some fun and meet some other great athletes,” said Kearse.
