Future Clemson defensive end Shaq Lawson wasn’t surprised the Tigers were able to defeat LSU in the Chick-Fil-A bowl.

“I knew they would do good with Nuk,” said Lawson.

Shaq has to return to Hargrave Academy this week to finish up exams.

“I am going back on January 3 to take my exam,” said Lawson.

The 4-star defensive end hopes to be ready to enroll at Clemson next week.

“Next week I should be in Clemson,” said Lawson.

What does Shaq have left to do to qualify?

“I just need to keep the grades I have now and do good on my exam and then I should be good to go,” said Lawson.

The former Daniel High standout is excited to be close to enrolling at Clemson.

“It feels good.  A lot of fans have shown me so much support.  That is why I love Clemson.  It is a family,” said Lawson.
