Kearse excited about Clemson’s future

Clemson verbal commitment Jayron Kearse has talked with the Tiger’s new defensive backs coach.

“I talked with coach Reed.  The conversation was pretty good.  We talked about how he is going to coach and the way he likes to coach his defensive backs,” said Kearse.

Jayron looks forward to getting to know coach Reed better before he arrives at Clemson next summer.

“He seems pretty cool.  I don’t really know him that well, but I hope to really get to know him before I get on campus,” said Kearse.

Jayron will be on campus next weekend for his official visit.

“I am taking my official next weekend.  I want to see everything again, but most importantly get to know coach Reed better,” said Kearse.

Monday night the prize recruit watched Clemson defeat No. 7 LSU.

“I loved the way the team played,” said Kearse.

Jayron believes the win showed the Clemson football program is heading in the right direction.

“It just shows that coach Dabo has the program going in the right direction.  I’m very excited about my future there and the teams future,” said Kearse.
